I was tempted to manipulate teh water line out of the images, as i have on others, but theres somethink about how realistic it makes the image look and adds a structure to the compostions almost liek two halves.

second attempt to fruit splashes

I decided to keep practicing with the water splash using fruit, his time I wanted to use something a bit smaller but with a good shape to give good form in my images.
I went to my local market and picked up a case of strawberries and a small case of berries, I don't really know why i picked them up , maybe because their seen as a delicious fruit, their bright, colorful, good form and texture.

I choice to redo this shoot in case I captured a better image, even though I was really happy with the last results I wanted to try different fruit and keep testing my photographic skills to make sure it wasn't just a one off shoot.

I didn't want to use a featured backround because i wanted the whole focus to be on the figure, so it wouldn't give any context to who it is and adds even more mysterius-ness to the figue.

Artist Research - Gareth morgans

I like the use of the large depth of field and colour, how the photographer has used different varieties of pink, making the image subtle and easy on the eye.

Lighting Guide Numbers

Calculating guide number, distance and apeture.
Distance from subject x indicated aperture (MIE) = Guide number

Guide number / Distance from subject = Correct aperture

Guide number / Aperture = Effective working distance
